So long, farewell, goodbye

It’s been a tough decision, but we’ve decided to say goodbye to this little blog.

The reason is that with our profiles on Facebook and Twitter, and with all our news being published on our website, we’re left with little to publish on our blog. You’ll get a chance to meet the new faces on Facebook (if they let us put their mugs on the profiles!), and any other articles or posts will be published on the main website.

Listed below are all our social profiles. To be sure you’re up-to-date with all Designit news, add us, follow us or like us. We hope you do, it’s been great to see how many visit the blog, commenting and taking part in what’s going on around here. Stick around :)

February’s new people

It’s mighty cold here in Denmark, from where this blog is writ, but that doesn’t stop us from getting out and about, and it certainly doesn’t stop people coming to us for interviews for jobs which we give them! Bravo! Say hello to the new kids in town. The Designit town, that is.

In Aarhus we welcome Jazmin Mølgaard Cullen as our new People Intern. Jazmin holds a BA in Anthropology and Organisational Development, and is currently taking her MA in Anthropology and People-Centred Business. She has a lot of secretarial experience under her belt, as well as ethnographic fieldwork on the Philippines, a 5 month long fieldwork in a non-profit organisation in southwestern Argentina and some small innovation projects as part of her BA and MA. Jazmin enjoys nature, outdoor stuff, and is a bit crazy, which is actually a necessity for Designit.

Still in Aarhus, we say hello to Anne Støvring Nielsen, our other People Intern. Anne is on her 8th semester at Aalborg University where she studies Interpersonal Organisation Communication. When not studying hard, Anne works as a personal assistant at health-psychologist and as a mentor for the younger students at the faculty of Art at the university. She enjoys cycling, and loves Icelandic horses.

Aarhus also gets to meet Kristoffer Aarsleff as the new Digital Project Manager. Kristoffer started out as a graphic design trainee and got his hands dirty with motion, interactive and experience design. Fast forward 10 years and he’s moved into idea/concept work and project management. Before Designit, he’s worked at CAT-Productions, Alexandra Instituttet, Ja Film, and as a freelancer. Kristoffer brings chaos, enthusiasm, respect and a casual attitude. If anyone knows Jay-Z or Bruce Wayne, he’d like to be put in touch (and we’ll tag along).

Meanwhile, in Oslo we welcome Hans Lambert Pedersen as our new Interaction Designer. Hans holds a BSc in IT specialised in product design from Aarhus University. During his studies he had several jobs as a teaching assistant at Aarhus University and at Aarhus School of Architecture. Since graduation, Hans has been doing an internship at design-people in Aarhus. He brings a lot of questions, and strong opinions – highly appreciated at Designit! Hans enjoys a glass of wine, and visiting museums.

So there you have it. If you see them, give them and hug and wish them well.
